Every child, teen and adult has heard of the wonderful Santa Claus and almost all of us have heard the tale growing up, but have you ever wondered where it all started, or how he came to be and where his legend first started.

There have been many different versions of Santa Claus, the most common today is the jolly man in the bright red suit who delivers gifts with the help of reindeer, but that is not how he always was imagined nor is that what he looked like in old tales.
