When I go to see a scary movie, I want to be crying and scared out of my mind and the” jump scares” were by far the scariest scenes in the movie. The movie started creepy, then scary and towards the end it just started to become silly. I have watched the older IT movie prior to the updated one; the older one is not as scary, but it is what you would expect from an older film. The new one is scarier and at the end of the movie the screen says ‘Chapter 1,’ meaning a new chapter to the story is going to happen. It is about their adult lives and looks like it’s going to be cool to see how it affects them later on in life with their own kids. Overall, it wasn’t amazing but the hook at the end definitely made it more interesting.
