Mohawk Baseball won the section title for the first time since 2004. The Warriors are co-champions and share the section title with Ellwood City. The Warriors finished section play going 8-2. The team is led by five seniors who will hopefully take them far in the playoffs.

Gianna Pezzuolo is a junior at Mohawk Sr High School. She has been a student at Mohawk since Kindergarten. She is on the varsity softball and basketball team at Mohawk. She also plays travel softball for Ohio Outlaws Fastpitch. In her free time she likes to spend time with family and friends. She also enjoys being outside. She has two dogs Rosie (Yorkie) and Sadie (Chocolate lab). She plans on furthering her education at a 4-year college.
