On Friday March 21st, a group of kids in high school were at the elementary judging 3rd through 5th graders on their ideas and projects. We saw a lot of very creative projects, some more research projects and some more experiments.
Mrs. Young the 4th grade science teacher is the one who runs all of this, here is some information from Mrs. Young.
This is Mrs. Young’s 3rd year planning the Science Fair, her favorite part of it is seeing all the wonderful ideas that the students create, as well as the excitement of the students as they participate in the STEM stations on the nigh of the event.
Mrs. Young says that the Science Fair has brought excitement, creativity, and engineering to the elementary school. She says it has made students realize that the world of science is all around them and used in all careers and in daily life.
