On Friday, February 28th the boys basketball team played Bishop Canevin. The Warriors won the consultation game 70-64 and secured a home game in the first round of the PIAA state playoffs. The boys play their state tournament Saturday, March 8th against Chestnut Ridge. Come out and pack the stands this Saturday and at the latest, be there by noon for a tip-off. The doors will open at 10:45am. The boys have been playing a long and hard season and need our support.

The team was able to make it to this point by having a 9-2 record for conference games and winning against Waynesburgh (59-40) and Southmoreland (55-38) in the WPIAL Playoffs, but then falling to South Alleghany (75-53), and finally winning the consultation game against Bishop Canevin (70-64). The team is now moving on to states and playing Chestnut Ridge. Be there to cheer them on!
