For Thanksgiving, first grade students at Mohawk Elementary School District held their own Macy’s Day Thanksgiving Parade. Students replicated the floats by crafting balloons during the school day and then later on “floating” them down the hallways.
The Macy’s Day Parade is an annual parade held in New York City that is hosted and shown by the United States store chain Macy’s. This parade has been around since 1924, making it the second oldest Thanksgiving parade in the U.S.A.
