Paint the Plow

Paint the Plow, 2017, is the second annual program where schools in Beaver and Lawrence counties participate in painting a snow plow that is roughly 12 feet long and 4 feet high. The theme on the plows this year was “Pay attention. Don’t be texting!” and were collected on October 6th. This is a student only competition so no teachers are allowed to help other than to direct the selection of the design and students. Students in Arts 2,3, and 4 helped pain the plow designed by Art 4 student Amber Hill who is also president of the ARTS club. The design we chose depicts the story of someone who is texting while driving when they come to an intersection because they are on their phone they don’t see the other car or the stop sign in front of them. The moral is: “It’s your phone or it’s your life!”
