Christmas Tea for Teachers
On December 21, 2021, Mohawk’s chapter of National Honor Society (NHS) showed appreciation to the high school’s staff and helped kick off the Christmas break. As a longstanding tradition for the students of NHS, the organization provided a coffee cart, punch, and dozens of cookies to the teachers. Advised by teacher Lori Boston, the NHS members each contributed a dozen homemade cookies to the event. Everyone was glad to continue the fun tradition after it was halted during the 2020-2021 school year due to Covid-19.
The staff members were all smiles while stopping in to grab a treat during prep periods and in-between classes. Much gratitude is expressed towards the students for making the event possible and towards the staff for being wonderful!
