Have you ever woken up to something in your yard that you didn’t put there? This was the case for many families living in Chippewa, Pennsylvania. This small town is full of a variety of children, adults, and elderly, Although the global pandemic Covid-19 had canceled many things, it was not canceling these families Christmas spirit. Anonymously, someone would place in inflatable giant frosty snowman in someone’s yard every night. They would go out at night and place one for the family to wake up to. These aren’t just any blow up snowmen either, these are 18 foot tall snowmen. At first, the town thought there would only be a few. They were quickly mistaken. The community soon began t get their Christmas spirit back that was being pulled away from the pandemic. Many families were unable to celebrate together, making it hard on a lot of people. This mysterious snowman-placer did not want these families to be over social media talking about how cool it was that someone was doing this. They loved it and so did their kids. What a great way to end the painful year of 2020. people started saying that they had been “frosted.” This was good for the community and to help the people who needed a little extra Christmas cheer.
