National Honors Society 2019

On Tuesday, April 23, 2019, Mohawk High School hosted the annual National Honors Society induction ceremony. The ceremony highlights the inductions of students who had been accepted into the program and demonstrates the four main characteristics of the society: character, leadership, scholarship, and service. Each student was chosen by the heads of the society and have earned their place in the program

This year, Mohawk welcomes 35 new members into NHS. These members include:

Zoe Abersold, Shane Anderson, Alex Boston, Gavin Coblentz, John Colella, Mikayla Cory, Anton Donghia, Natalie Grim, Taylor Harman, Ashley Hepler, Nicole Johngrass, Lila Jones, Asia Kerr, Clayton Ketterer, Hannah Koty, Mackenzie Kushma, Samuel Lewis, Angelique Lindsay, Dylan Lloyd, Mikayla MacQuarrie, Sydney Madrid, Karly McCutcheon, Olivia McKenna, Callista Micco, Alexa Nulph, Jenna Pharr, Nikalina Retort, Adriana Romano, Isabella Schmidt, Madalynn Shiderly, Ronald Shirilla, Leah Stroebel, Josephine Vankirk, Emily Vero, and Alyssa Young.

The ceremony also featured a performance by the Rubante Quartet, composed of siblings Xavier, Aljandra, Donovan, and Belita Rubante.
