This year homecoming, the Mohawk students dressed up each day of the week to show school spirit. Themes included USA day, jersey day, cowgirl/cowboy day, nerd day and of course warrior pride day. Thursday afternoon, students were led to the gym where the Mohawk Band, and Mohawk cheerleaders were dancing, and playing music for the big pep rally in celebration for homecoming court and The Warrior football team who are 5-1 so far this season. Mohawk held a annual homecoming parade the next day which was held Friday afternoon before the big game. The marching band, fall sports, cheerleaders, homecoming court and students all joined along with area police departments, fire departments, and various other organizations to glory in our community. Last years Homecoming king, Walter Romano, crowned 2018 Homecoming queen and King, Nicole Weingartner and Zachary Baney. Following crowning, the Warrior football team and fans were ready to take on the Wildcats. This year, the Mohawk Warrior football team had a huge win against the Shenango Wildcats, scoring 56 points and holding the Wildcats to where they had 0 points. Ending the exciting week, Mohawk held an annual Homecoming Formal with a fun filled night full of music, dancing and food.
