Achieving the title of 2024-2025 Gatorade Pennsylvania Boys Cross Country Player of the Year is Mohawk High School senior Jaxon Schoedel. Schoedel achieved being a two-time champion, having his WPIAL and PIAA titles this past fall in Class 1A Boys Cross Country. Schoedel had also placed 1st in PIAA Class 1A state meet, 3rd in NXN Northeast Region championships, and 66th national NXN Final.
On top of being an amazing athlete, Jaxon maintains a weighted 4.23 GPA, is a member of NHS, and signed a letter to run for Penn State University for college.
Jaxon is also a successful runner in boys Track & Field. He and other students from Mohawk will be competing in the WPIAL individual championships at Slippery Rock University on Wednesday, May 14th. Come out to support these student athletes!
