On December 6th, Kayla Freed, her brothers Destin and Payton, and her son Steven suffered a tragic car accident. In this accident, the family suffered life changing injuries. Club Scout Pack 720 is hosting a benefit dinner to ease their financial burden and raise money towards it as they begin their healing process. 100% of the money will go directly towards the Freed’s family cause.
This dinner takes place on January 11th from 4pm-6pm feeding Ziti with meat sauce, side salad with dressing, bread and butter, dessert and drinks. Each plate costs $10 and is avaliable to Dine In or Take Out. The dinner is at Bessemer Presbyterain Church located on 29 N Main St Bessemer PA 16112.
Mohawk students are also showing their support during lunch on the last week of school before winter break by purchasing $1 tree cutouts. All the money received for the trees goes to the family. Send money with your kids to lunch to donate to the family’s recovery!
Mark your calendars for the dinner and come show your support for the recovering Mohawk Community Family or send a prayer their way!
