The Lady Warriors soccer season has just begun. After the 2023 season, the girls were in need of a head coach. Assistant Coach Joe Cox stepped up to fill in the head coaching position and welcomed assistant coach Anna Reese to the team. Despite their new roles, the coaches worked the girls hard because they believed that the girls could do great things. Coach Cox stated, “I’m really impressed with the girls. We are going to be a great team this season.” The Lady Warriors played their first home game against Our Lady Of The Sacred Heart (OLSH) but unfortunately fell with a score of 1-4 on August 26. Even though the Lady Warriors didn’t have a strong start, they came back taking the win against Sharpsvillie 10-2 on August 31. The girls played at Mercer over the weekend on Saturday, August 31 and during the tight match, took home the win 5-2. With big expectations and a close bonded team, the Lady Warriors are prepared for their season.
