This year Mohawk showcased Shrek as the musical. It was very well put together by so many hard working students and staff. It was held at the New Castle Cathedral and was sold out the first night. I talked with Graecyn Pastore, a senior this year, who played Fiona in the Shrek musical. She said, “Being a part of Shrek the musical my senior year was an amazing experience. Playing a role as dynamic as Fiona was a challenge. Filling the shoes of such a well known character was the best part. The caliber of a stage that big added to the shows energy.” Graecyn pulled off the role of Fiona so amazing, as did everyone else with their roles. Thank you all for all the hard work and time put into the musical.
