Art’s Club; Humane Society Donations

This January, Mrs. Pagley and The Art’s Club are sponsoring a donation drive for the Lawrence County Humane Society. The Humane Society acts voluntarily on behalf of the vulnerable animals that are unable to defend themselves against the hatred and abuse of the world. This donation drive is overly dedicated to achieving their goals of 200$ in monetary donations as well as pet supplies!

The Humane Society is a non-profit origination who successfully took on the most difficult fight to put an end to all animal cruelty; such as, puppy mills, fur trade, and animals cosmetic testing. But within the shelters, appropriately, 6.5 million animals are in shelters yearly. With the help from The Humane Society many forgotten and homeless pets are found new loving forever homes!

“The Humane Society of the United States and its affiliations spend 73% of all gifts directly on lifesaving animal protection programs, while the reaming funds help maintain our infrastructure and operations.” (www.humaesociety.org)

With your help of donating, you will be helping animals find their forever homes, get the apporate medical care and quickly get them on the road of recovery!

(Where to Donate) The donation drop off box is located in the high school cafeteria. We are accepting non-clumping cat litter, newspaper, dry cat and dog food, pet toys, treats and detergent as well as, monetary donations.

If you have any questions feel free to ask Mrs. Pagley or the Arts Club members!
