Basketball season is back! The Warriors jumped into the season with the Tip-Off Tournament held at Mohawk High School. Mohawk started off with the first round against Freedom. The Warriors flourished in a dominating 63-27 victory. The defense was stellar, the offense was hot, and the crowd was fired up, chanting “just like football!” at the end of the game, reminiscing back to the fall when the Warriors beat the Bulldogs on the turf. With their win, the Warriors found a place in the championship game on Saturday against Eden Christian Academy. In a very low-scoring, defensive match, Mohawk lost in a six-point deficit. The Warriors look to bounce back and have high hopes for the rest of the season. Go Warriors!
