Halloween Festivities at the Elementary School

Halloween is a child’s favorite time of year! It’s a day for them to dress up and get free candy, which no child is ever against. On October 31st, the 2nd and 3rd grade classes at Mohawk Elementary School celebrated with class parties. Mrs. Mariano’s class enjoyed Halloween bingo, pumpkin painting, and treats! Then, we went to Mrs. Kennedy’s class where they were making fun crafts, including mason jar mummies! The kids were also drawing ghosts on a ping pong ball, which was on a tea light. The kids in Mr. Best’s class were wearing Halloween themed masks and handing out candy. In Mrs. Johnson’s class, they were playing a ton of Halloween themed games, including throwing cotton balls in a ghost jar, and pumpkin bowling! The 2nd and 3rd graders had a fun Halloween day filled with candy, games, crafts, and fun!
